Step-by-Step Operator Loading Sequence
- Fill Tank to 75% Water Level: Engage mechanical agitator at 100–150 RPM before introducing dry materials.
- Sift GreenTack / ViscoLok: Pour powder gradually across the recirculating vortex over 60 seconds. Mineral spacers prevent lump formation.
- Introduce Seed & Fertilizer: Mix thoroughly for 60 seconds once polymers are dispersed.
- Top Off Water & Agitate: Fill to capacity and agitate for 8 – 12 Minutes. Hydrophobic anti-foam prevents slurry overflow.
Loading Recipe: 3,000 Gallon Tank
- Water Volume: 3,000 Gallons
- GreenTack Hydrocolloid: 30 – 60 lbs
- ViscoLok EFM Hydromulch: 1,050 – 1,500 lbs
- Agitation Benchmark: 8 – 12 Minutes
- Max Coverage Area: Up to 4.5 Acres (196,020 sq ft)
Max Pumping Distance & Hose Friction Matrix
| Hose Inner Diameter | Max Hose Length | Pressure Drop (PSI / 100ft) | Slurry Flow Rating |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1.5 Inch Rubber Hose | Up to 150 Feet | 18–22 PSI | Good for small turrets |
| 2.0 Inch High-Flow Hose | Up to 350 Feet | 10–14 PSI | Recommended for civil slopes |
| 3.0 Inch Heavy-Duty Hose | Up to 600+ Feet | 4–7 PSI | Optimal for extreme DOT cuts |
Field Troubleshooting Guide
| Field Symptom | Likely Cause | Immediate Job-Site Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Slurry Too Thick / Hard to Pump | Exceeded recommended loading ratio | Add 50 gallons water & agitate 2 mins |
| Foam Overflowing Tank Hatch | High-shear agitation air entrainment | GreenTack maintains a low-foaming profile during high-shear agitation |
| Nozzle Spitting or Clogging | Commodity tackifier agglomerations (fisheyes) | GreenTack's dispersion modifiers prevent fisheye formation |
